RIP John Hughes: Great Movies…Great Soundtracks

First visit to Music Savvy Mom? Awesome! Go HERE quick to get caught up.

His movies defined a generation.
Yep. Mine.
When John Hughes passed away suddenly this week from a heart attack, I think it’d be fair to say that a bit of the ’80’s went with him.
I’m not going to write an article chronicling his life – plenty of those have been written and read in the past few days. No need to recap his films, really…I’d venture to guess that many of us have whole sections memorized.
I’m going to listen to the music that accompanied them…let the songs trigger memories…chuckle to myself, or just laugh out loud.
Thanks, John.

(UPDATE: I added more since this morning…kept thinking of others I loved.)
