I can’t remember how I came across Chicken Nuggets of Wisdom, but I know that I was sold on the banner photo alone. One look and I knew that this was a woman who possessed more than just your garden variety sense of humor…
And, (as I’m sure you’ve come to expect by now), I was absolutely right. DiPaola Momma is nuttier than a Stuckey’s Pecan Log, and I LOVE it! While appearing to shoot from the hip, this Mom o’ four dishes up hilarity and common sense in equal portions, and garnishes with a good ol’ fashioned forthright delivery. The result is a Blue Plate Special of Fun for us, her “Nuggetiers”. (Oh, yes, I said “us”. I am proudly licking the ketchup rim of my Nuggetini right now, people. That’s right – I’m proudly spreading the breading.)
Notice I said “appearing to shoot from the hip”, though…because I suspect that DiPM (I abbreviated) is WAY more on the ball and organized than she’d have us believe. I mean, she IS a professional writer…and when she’s not writing hilarious Open Letters to her Boobies or her PMS, she keeps on track with “Tips and Titillation Tuesday”, “Thoroughly Thifty Thursday” and my personal fave, “Fit Pitchin’ Friday”. Effortlessly, she manages to balance a veritable pu-pu-platter of content to keep us interested and coming back for more.
And go figure – she shuffles a mean list of music, too! Of course, she can’t COUNT, because her list goes to thirteen…but since every one of these songs is on MY iPod, and I love them all, I’m totally good with that.
Rock on, Nugget Momma!
