I’m Ri - wife of Brian, Mom of Liam. (He’s four. Liam, not Brian.) I love music and the occasional petit-four. I drink an unreasonable amount of coffee. (Accompanying baked goods optional, but suggested.) I’m rarely serious. This is where I hang to talk music with my buds. New music...old music. Sometimes not even music. Whatever. Hope you stick around, because I can always use new buds. (Especially ones who bring pie. Just sayin’.)

Heids January 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm: The Weakerthans are also good for lyrically dense tunes. Even when their songs aren’t so long, they pack more ideas per line than most bands twice as verbose.

Ditto for the Decemberists, come ta think of it.
