But no. In this case, I’m talking about a Forum on this blog. Y’know, like a bulletin board thingie – where you can post, and people can answer you…you can start threads on different topics.
(Because it’s not like we all have ENOUGH ways to waste our time now.)
Why have I done this, you ask? Well, for many reasons, none of which are any good, but when combined together were too powerful for me to resist at 2 am. To wit:
- (a.) because I had never set one up, and I wanted to see if I could. What can I tell you…*shoulder shrug*…I yearn for knowledge.
- (b.) so I wouldn’t be the one to ALWAYS pick the topic of discussion. This way, y’all can start threads on whatever you want. (Within reason. We should probably keep it PG, in case I someday have an interested advertiser. Mama needs a new pair of shoes, people.)
- (c.) because I’ve met some of my very best friends in life online…and some in ridiculous forums that are of little to no consequence. And, I like you people. It seemed a logical “next step” in our collective relationship.
So, that’s it – no hidden agenda. No master plan. I’m not even sure how the software all works yet. Eh, we’ll figure it out together. I’m pretty sure you get more flexibility and posting permissions if you register on the site first, but guests can post too. Feel free to start a discussion topic – I started “Music” and “Non-Music” Forums. I figured that pretty much covered everything, right?
(And in case you’re wondering…I consider “Random Poll: Who puts mayo on a hot dog?” to be a valid topic, so don’t be shy in starting threads, people.)
