There is a huge wave of kindie-rock that I've seen, and the refreshing thing is that the songs are palatable and fun to listen to. Plus, the lyrics don't offend the tender eared when you walk around the house singing them (as opposed to say, Rage Against the Machine - which also has a place in my home). We've got the Sugar Free All Stars here in OKC, a duo that plays kid-friendly and adults-only tunes. I'm a fan. I don't know if I would put it in my iPod for workout jams, but I would put it in my kid's CD player and sing along to it. :) They are way B-52s-esque for sure.
