This is why I will probably never actually review....I just don't have a way with words anymore, and am afraid I will never do the subject matter justice either way. I can see why this would seem like an assault on your emotions. I personally like my music with a good mix of sappy, sad, cheesy, upbeat, and aggressive. I really have to be in the right mood for any kind of music, and my moods change often. Beautifully done review, Ri! From my own experience, you don't have to have experienced the pain & grief of a sib passing to not be able to hear certain music. I go through many stints when I can't listen at all, to anything, so I don't think its unusual. I rarely listen to Tim McGraw, but today while watching Riley get her teeth cleaned "My Little Girl" came on and I had to grit my teeth to hold back the tears. I guess with everything going on with Daddy and watching my little girl being so brave it just hit me hard. You did a great job on the review.
